SUNBEAMS

Clouds gather, it will rain but the sun breaks through the clouds. Wind blows, it’s getting darker although it is just about 3.00 p.m. A majestic sky, a moment of contemplation.

WINTERSKY

At the end of the day light is fading. But what a sight, a winter sky. Colors of blue, orange and white above a dark landscape of pine tree. The dark days of winter are still there but these moments of spectacular lights in the sky are amazing. Don’t stay inside, even if the days look dark and sad. Nature will surprise you, just open your eyes.

GREAT WHITE EGRET

The day after Christmas a white surprise (no it wasn‘t snowing) was foraging in a meadow. A great white egret searching for food. And it seems that there was enough of it. The white bird stretched its neck frequently to hunt for its prey. Nature is exciting.

TREES

The trees are wet and their structures become more visible and also the different patterns of bark. An endless variety of greens and browns and grooves and notches.

WILD HORSES

The call of geese sound above the clouds of mist. You hear them but you can’t see them, until the mist gets a little bit thinner and the characteristic V-shape flight pattern of these magical birds become visible. A wonderful encounter on a misty morning.

On the plain some wild horses are galloping, a deep distant sound of trembling hooves, the sound of wild horses
